When i got beat up

I got beat up by three other guys for no reason at all. Maybe because I’m a punk?
This happened when I came out of the grocery store, with Maleeka just watching them beat me up. But she stopped them from beating me worse than I was.  I was shocked when she did that for me. Everyone around the neighborhood was watching and didn’t try to stop them from beaten but Maleeka did.  I was happy for that and kind of mad at myself, because after I got beat up, my face was just messed up. I wanted to commit suicide - that’s how bad my face was that day

Maleeka borrows Chars clothes

I think that’s nasty wearing someone else’s clothes, but I can understand that because her father died. Her mom makes her clothes, but now her clothes are just a mess. When she came to school, and her mom’s trying her best to help make Maleeka some clothes. She’s just stressed out about her husband, Maleeka’s father. So Maleeka made friends with a girl named Char. She gives Maleeka clothes to wear, but that’s nice but there’s a flip to it. Maleeka has to do things for her like doing her homework and get her lunch. That’s not a friend.

Two guys follow Maleeka after a party

  I think that’s disturbing - two guys following Maleeka after a party. I bet she was scared. But if I was her, I would have called someone to come pick me up. It was really dark outside that day. Poor Maleeka. I’m just glad she made it home that day, but I still don’t like her. I’m just glad so I can still tease her when she comes to school about her skin and stuff. I’m so funny. But I'm still wondering, did Maleeka see who was following her? Did she know them? They might have wanted to scare her, that’s all. Or maybe not. Maybe there’s something else they wanted.   

Caleb writes Maleeka a poem

I think that’s kind of nice and yucky to me Caleb writing Maleeka a poem and you wonder why I said yucky is because to me, Maleeka is just pear ugly. Who would like her? The devil, of course cause they look alike. Ha-ha! Told you I'm funny - too bad you’re not.
Why does Caleb like Maleeka? Why not Char? She looks way better than Maleeka’s Black self. Maybe he knew I liked Char, and he don’t want to start nothing with me. Or he just likes ugly girls that are dark like Maleeka. Yup that’s what it is - he likes ugly girls like Maleeka. n

Ms.Saunder catches Maleeka with a cigareet

That’s surprising I never thought Maleeka would smoke and get caught by Ms. Saunders her own teacher at that and if I was her I would have never tried to smoke but if I did I would have never got caught smoking and even if some one bet me one million dollars I wouldn’t even smoke but Maleeka had a choose smoke it or not and she chose to smoke it because Char told her to that’s not a good friend and Caleb tried to tell her to just leave Char because she’s going to end up getting you in trouble and you be able to get your self out of the situation 

Messing up Ms.Saunders class room

I am happy that Maleeka and Char and her friends messed up Ms. Saunders classroom because I don't like Ms. Saunders and if you meet her you wont like her either but if you do good luck with that. When I first had went there in Ms. Saunders class room when she seen me I think she knew I was a troublemaker so when she give you that funny eye look away.

When Maleeka told on Char

The day Maleeka told on Char was brave because Maleeka finally faced her fears against her and really is because Char controls her to do things like get her lunch and forced her to burn Ms. Saunders class room. Also Im happy that Char got sent away because she was pain in the butt for Maleeka and Im kind of mad because I like Char.
